About Me

Hey there! My name is Austin Dodge and I am excited to welcome you to my blog. I am a high school junior at St. Joseph's Catholic School, located in Greenville, South Carolina. My page will focus on the data science world, showing how data is an important component to all aspects of life. My passion outside of the world of data science is in wrestling. I am drawn to the discipline, mental fortitude, and thrill of competing that the sport provides. I also participate in Youth in Government, where I learned the importance of public policy and how it relates to technology. My favorite hobby is playing chess because it involves strategy and anticipating the strategy of your opponent. I also volunteer at The Children's Museum, working on their STEAM program. Each of these interests has helped shaped my desire to work in Data Science. My goal is to write about things happening in my life and how they relate to the growing field of data science.
